If something does cause your vehicle to breakdown, we want to make sure you are back on the road as soon as possible.
Call out fees may apply for any at fault issues including running out of fuel, flat battery, flat tyres, lost keys or keys locked inside the vehicle.
Breakdown Procedure

3. Call roadside assistance:
Contact our 24/7 Roadside Assistance team at 1800 656 550 for immediate help.
1. Check for Injuries
Immediately check yourself and your passengers for any injuries. If anyone is hurt, do not attempt to move them unless there is an immediate danger.
2. Call Emergency Services
If there are injuries, significant damage, or the road is blocked, call 000 immediately for police and ambulance assistance.
3. Exchange Details
Obtain the names, addresses, phone numbers, and driver's license details of all other drivers involved, along with their vehicle registration numbers.
Accident Reporting
If you are involved in a motor vehicle accident, please remain calm and follow these essential reporting protocols to ensure your safety and fulfill your rental obligations.
4. Take Photos
Capture clear photos of the accident scene, including vehicle positions and all damage sustained, to assist with the insurance claim process.
5. Call Budget Support
Contact Budget as soon as possible to report the incident and receive further instructions regarding the vehicle.
